On Thursday 28 May 1953, the "Wyong Dramatic Group" presented Noėl Coward's Hay Fever at the old Memorial Hall. It was directed by Geoff Cox. On Wednesday 9 September 1953 it presented Candied Peel by Falkand L Cary. Geoff Cox had a major role in the play, but the direction this time was left to Joyce Callaghan.
