Accommodations by Nick Hall
This was David Hobbs's directorial debut for Wyong Drama Group. He had previously appeared in Boeing Boeing (1989), and presented plays for Woy Woy Little Theatre. The play is set in a small, run-down apartment in Greenwich Village, New York City, traditionally populated by out-of-work actors, writers, struggling artists, self-styled bohemians and weirdos. Lee Schallert comes from Westchester, an upper middle-class suburb of New York, the home of company directors, doctors, lawyers and stock brokers. The time is 1975... The play opened at Wyong Memorial Hall on Thursday 19th August 1993 at 8pm, then 20th (8pm) 21st (2pm & 8pm); 26th (8pm) 27th (8pm) and closed on Saturday 28th (8pm only). The play then got an encore performance at Kanwal Primary School Hall preceeded by a wine & cheese tasting session from De Bertolis Wines from 6:30pm on 11 September 1993.
