Albert by Richard Harris
The Bush Bash play for 1998 was a great little number about language difficulties called Albert which was directed by Kath Izzard and Howard Oxley. The play was also entered as a WDG entry in the TheatreFest 98 competition a few months later. In the TheatreFest it picked up two awards, one for Laszlo Weidlich as Best Actor, and another for Howard Oxley as Best Supporting Actor. It is a sitcom with three people who are all having language difficulties. That they try to understand each other and pretend to is where the comedy lies. It featured Stephanie Weidlich, Laszlo Weidlich and Howard Oxley. Bush Bash '98 Programme (423,456 bytes) Note: the following picture is a thumbnail. Click on the pic for the full-sized image.
