Re: Bush Bash 2004

For the seventeenth time, Wyong Drama Group will present the annual Bush Bash
on Saturday 26 June. In the winter of the seventeenth Bush Bash, we have decided
on a Beach Theme for the event. Last year we presented simply a Bush Dance,
however, this year, we return to the customary Dinner- Show- Dance format, with
full catering, a One-act play and members of Outback providing the music. Our
audiences have told us this is what they prefer, and who are we to argue?
This year, the play will be Day Trippers by Jean McConnell to be directed by
Millie Sampson. The play is a two-hander with Denise Pastor and Pam Campbell in
the leads. It has been selected from Wyong's entries in the upcoming Theatre
Festival of One Act plays in August. The play will also be competing for honours
in the Festival, so you can be assured the Bush Bash play will be of competitive
standard!
Outback are back again for about the tenth time, and Wyong audiences have
come to know and love them. Their rendition of Cows with Guns always gets the
crowd moving, and their Bush Dance music makes sure everyone hits the dance
floor during the night.
