Candied Peel, a play by Falkland L Cary
This was directed by Joyce Callaghan, so Geoff Cox was denied his hat-trick (although he did have a major role in the play). It opened in the old Memorial Hall on Wednesday 9 September 1953. If the programme is correct, there would have been only two performances: opening night and the very next Thursday night. An image of the programme is available (pdf file, 281,915 bytes)
