Flood leaves Green Room less than flash

Here are some pictures of the flooding around Wyong Memorial Hall, Anzac Avenue, Wyong on Friday 9 June 2007.  The flood affected us by causing damage to our wardrobes and many props and stage items.  The understage area filled with water and it spilled into the Green Room several inches high.  Due to capillary attraction, the pyneboard wardrobes along the back wall of the Green Room all expanded, became soft, and developed some lovely curves.  We had to replace all the old wardrobes, have a general cleanup in the understage area and get the carpet shampooed.  The musty smell still prevails somewhat, however it was much worse before the carpet was shampooed.

Our thanks goes out to all drama group members who came in at short notice and helped to clean up and re-organise the Green Room in time for the Theatre Festival.
