Show dates for 2010
September Meeting at 8pmDue to an important appointment before the meeting for the President, the September meeting will commence at the old time of 8pm, not 7:30pm for this month only. If you get there at 7:30pm, you'll simply be a bit early. No doubt Tea/Coffee and a chat can be on the cards for those of you missing this announcement. For others of us coming to meetings for few years now, it will be nostalgic to get things underway at 8pm like we used to do. No matter what, however, you can probably count on several late-comers still!
Help us help you!As you may be aware, Wyong Drama Group is campaigning to be given premises in the proposed Wyong Shire Cultural Centre which will be built to replace the Memorial Hall sometime in the next few years. Our existing arrangement re the Green Room needs to be maintained when the new facility is built, as this was provided to us by Wyong Shire Council in 1975 in return for us giving up the Wyong Youth Hall which we previously controlled when it was demolished in 1976. However (aghast!) it looks like the Green Room is not going to continue when the new centre is built! We ask your help in supporting us. If you are involved in a local business or community organisation, can you please download, print out, and fill in the following letter. Please return it to us by mail to PO Box 359, Wyong, 2259, or you can scan it in and email it back to wdg@wyongdramagroup.com.au . Cultural Centre Support Letter for WDG (pdf file, 46,463 bytes)
