It Runs in the Family by Ray Cooney
The November production in 1996 was It Runs in the Family a typical English farce from Ray Cooney and directed by Bonnie Bryant, assisted by Ron Baker. Set in the doctor's common room of St Andrews Hospital, this farce follows the hilarious plight of neurology specialist, Dr Mortimer. Whilst preparing for the most important lecture of his life, the consequences of youthful adventures in the sluice room with Nurse Tate seem certain to thwart him. The humour created by his ever more complex explanations is made all the more funny by fellow doctors preparing for the Xmas panto and dead patients who refuse to stay still. At the end, the circle of relationships is completed, and some mysteries solved - not that you were expecting that, of course. It Runs in the Family programme (pdf file 547,040 bytes) Hit No
