Wyong Drama Group’s next play Love’s a Luxury by Guy Paxton and Edward V
Holle is set to be a theatrical luxury everyone can afford treat themselves to
when it opens in November. Love’s a Luxury is an hilarious English farce,
the type of drama for which Wyong Drama Group has a long-standing reputation. Co-directors Howard Oxley and Bonnie Bryant have assembled a fine cast
including Howard Oxley himself, Marc Calwell, Bernie O’Brien, Duncan Mitchell,
Peter Kocan, Ruth Jordon, Cathy De-Vries, Julie Bailey and Carolyn Dufton.
Regulars at WDG shows will be familiar with most of the names mentioned here The play will open on Thursday 4 November and continue on 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13
November with the curtain to rise at 8pm. There is also a Matinee at 2pm on
Saturday 13 November. Wyong Drama Group’s usual Supper Nights apply on the
Friday and Saturday nights, with relaxed seating at tables and nibblies
supplied. It makes for a great atmosphere and costs $15 or $12 concession. For
those who just want to see the show, the Thursday nights and Matinee on the
