Two plays went to the Mudgee Theatre Festival in 1997. Victims, an Irish play was directed by Bonnie Bryant. It later competed at the TheatreFest at Zenith Theatre in Chatswood, in September 1997. The Last Tango In Little Grimley, directed by Ron Baker also went to the Mudgee Festival, had a reprise as the Bush Bash play, and was also entered into the TheatreFest at Zenith Theatre in Spetember. Both these one-act plays were also presented at an evening for Wyong Drama Group at the memorial hall on Friday 5th September 1997.
