Peter Pan by Val Stanton & Peter Kocan

This is the typical children's pantomime based on J M Barrie's famous character of Peter Pan, the boy who would never grow up and lived in Never Never Land.

The play was toured up and down the coast, and ran at 10:30am on Friday 15 January 1993 at Woy Woy Leagues Club; Monday 18 January at both 11am and 2pm at Tuggerah Lakes RSL Club (now Diggers @ The Entrance); Tuesday 19 January at 11am and 2pm at Doyalson-Wyee RSL Club and then on Friday 22 January (11am and 2pm) at Wyong Memorial Hall.

The cast mainly consisted of WDG Juniors, although Peter Kocan himself was Smee, Laszlo Weidlich Captain Hook and John Czerniecki the Indian Chief.

The other junior characters were Stephanie Weidlich, Andrew McCrae, Jenny Rayner, Skye Murphy, Mitchell Dux, Storm Murphy Bonnie Stanton, Gabrielle Rutherford, Diane Rayner, Rachel Fletcher, Sophie Murphy, Kay Burton, Caroline Rutherford, Angela Snelling and Samantha Dux.

Director was Val Stanton, Production Manager Peter Kocan, Musical Director Ford Ray, Stage Manager Andrew Stanton and the prompt Pollyanna Forshaw (Murphy).

We do not have a programme for this show in the archives, however there was a poster, which is online.
