Re: Wyong Drama Group’s Next Production ”Run For Your Wife”
Dt: 1 April 2003
What would you do if you loved two women, and couldn’t choose between them?
Would you, like Stanley, try to live with them both? How long do you really
think you could get away with it? One thing’s for sure – if you’re trying to
keep this sort of situation going, you need help, a cool head, and fantastic
organisational skills.
These questions are answered in Wyong Drama Group’s forthcoming production of
”Run For Your Wife”, opening later this month at Wyong Memorial Hall. The play
is a Ray Cooney farce which includes so many close calls the audience is left on
their seats wondering just whether or not the game will be up, or the incredible
organisational skills of Stanley will shine through. It’s a great chance to get
out from the humdrum world, and laugh a lot.
The cast of the play is Bernie O’Brien, Howard Oxley, Cathy De Vries, Denise
Pastor, Barry Sampson, Ray Hendley, Nikki De Vries, and Sean Martin. The play is
directed by Pam Campbell, who will be assisted by Wendy Potter.
The play opens at Wyong Memorial Hall (opposite the RSL in Anzac Ave) on
Thursday 24 April at 8pm. It then plays Friday 25 April at 8pm, Saturday 26
April at 2pm & 8pm. The second week of the run is Thursday 1 May, Friday 2 May
and Saturday 3 May all at 8pm. (There is only 1 matinee on Saturday 26 April at
2pm). Tickets are $12 ($10-conc) for the Thursdays and Matinee, and $15
($12-conc) for Friday and Saturday Nights, when a light supper is served. Wyong
Drama Group provides free Tea, Coffee and Programmes for all shows. For
