After the success of the Encore 2004 Festival and the 2005 Festival we again
presented a TheatreFest in 2006. It is becoming quite a habit and it
attracted nine plays this year.
Wyong Drama Group entered four plays - Hewers of Coal by Joe Corrie, directed by Millie Sampson;
Fawlty Towers: The Waldorf Salad by John Cleese & Connie Booth, directed
by Pam Campbell; and Darlene Cole
directed two, Mother & Son: The Last Straw by Geoffery Atherden and The Donoghue Sisters
by Geraldine Aron. These plays
(except Fawlty) were also sent to the
Canberra Festival in late September/early
October as well.
