The Un-Cucumber Man by Ian Austin

and BusyBodies by Pat Woods

These two Australian One-Act plays were presented at Toukley Bowling Club by invitation in July 1991.  They were both directed by Ray Noonan.  The 1990 production of Pajama Tops was taken by Wyong Drama Group to Toukley Bowling Club for performance after it closed at Wyong Memorial Hall.  Following the success of that show, the bowling club invited us to present further plays there, and so these two One-Act comedies were offered and accepted.

BusyBodies was taken to the Great Lakes Amateur Drama Festival on Saturday 3 August 1991 (9:30am session), and it won Best Supporting Actress for Ruth Jordon, and the overall Third Best Production.

Bush Bash

The Uncucumber Man was also used as the one-act play for the Fourth Annual Bush Bash presented on 13th July 1992.  It featured the band Kikkatinalong, and at this point in time tickets were $20 a head.
